Chestnuts 2025
This year’s chestnut fruit is small, because the tree received water at the beginning of the season, so it produced a lot of fruit. However, due to the prolonged drought over the months, the chestnut trees produced small fruit. My chestnut grove is also in poor shape for large, prized varieties.

Among the many chestnut trees, only 4 or 5 trees bear decent fruit this year. Three are uncovered by the fence, so the fruit is eaten by animals, and believe me, this year they’re all here: horses, mares, with 2 foals,

5 donkeys, cows, and goats. I only have 2 chestnut trees in the garden fence.
Out of about thirty trees, including wild chestnuts.

In conclusione quest’ anno le castagne dalle nostre parti sono poche e piccole non è l’annata più brutta , perché è stato lo scorso anno, l’anno più misero di castagne,in poche parole ogni hanno va peggio
